# Mashed Potatos Delicious and creamy mashed potatos for two! ## ingredients * 1 lb potatoes * 2 tsp salt (divided) * 1 tsp butter * 1/4 C heavy cream * Black pepper ## steps 1. Peel, cut up, and place potatoes into salted cold water in a pot 2. Bring pot to boil, then reduce heat to medium 3. Let potatoes cook for 20-25 minutes or until a knife easly cuts them 4. Drain potatoes and then add then back to the pot 5. Dry over low heat for 1 minute 6. Add butter, heavy cream, pepper, and remaining salt 7. Mash up and mix with your tool of choice (masher recommended) ## notes * Make to to season, my midwest friends! * Use ~3/4 of the salt for the water
