# Sausage Gnocchi Soup
Creamy soup with a little spice!
## ingredients
* 1 lb mild italian sausage
* 1 yellow onion
* 1 bag spinach (optional)
* 1-2 tbsp minced garlic
* 2 cups chicken broth
* 2 cups heavy cream
* 3 oz grated parmesean cheese
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 tsp pepper
* 1 tsp italian seasoning
* 1 tsp oregano
* 1 tsp parsley
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* 1 tsp onion powder
* 1 tsp crushed red peppers (optional)
* 1 package gnocchi
* 1 tbsp tomato paste
## steps
1. Add oil to medium heat pan. Cook 1 diced onion until translucent.
2. Add minced garlic.
3. Add mild italian sausage.
4. Once cooked, add seasonings (salt, pepper, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano, garlic poweder, onion powder, and crushed red peppers.)
5. Add tomato paste and two cups chicken broth.
6. Once boiling, add gnocchi, cook for 2-3 minutes.
7. Turn heat to low and add heavy cream.
8. Stir in parmesean cheese.
9. Add optional diced spinach to pan.
10. Simmer on low for 10 additional minutes to thicken.
